For added strength, also ask if there is a vertical steel bar running top to bottom along the inside edge.

Composite Doors

Tried and tested composite doors have been used extensively in the past two decades. They are predominantly offered in traditional designs, but modern designs are now increasingly popular, offering a cost-effective option whilst giving very good value for money. Our main brands are Hormann, DoorStop and Rockdoor, offering thick insulated composite door panels with a range of colours, finishes, frames, glazing and locking options. Inside every Rockdoor composite front door, for example, a super-strong reinforcing frame integrates with a high density core. For additional strength, upgrade to a steel reinforced security mesh. Combining these within the design creates a door which far exceeds police approved standards.
